Recent student work at MIY Workshop
Just a few of the impressive creations my students have been churning out recently:
Lisa in two of the three items she’s made for her wardrobe since starting my classes. She’s now a self-confirmed sewing addict and won’t even be distracted by Gypsy dog….!
This lovely grey wool jersey fabric from Ditto has been making lots of appearances at MIY Workshop. Karen was the first to spot its potential and turned it into this lovely frock with room for her baby bump to expand.
It doesn’t have to just be clothes for yourself – Dianne is onto her second baby dress since joining my classes. Good job as she has twins to keep well dressed!
And it doesn’t have to be only clothes. There’s been a flurry of curtain and cushion making at MIY Workshop. Here’s Tracey’s impressive curtains – lined, beautifully straight hem and only her second project after a couple of blocks of classes.
