I believe that the biggest hurdle for many sewers is finding enough space without interruptions to be able to continue with their sewing at home. If this sounds familiar you can now hire a sewing machine (or leave your own at MIY Workshop – see memberships) and the workshop space all set up and ready to go including the 2.4m long cutting table.

I also have a couple of Bernina 1008 sewing machines aka the Rolls Royce of sewing machines!! Berninas are fantastic sewers and are the best machines for free machine embroidery. The Berninas are available at the following prices:

If you are a confident sewer and have previously used an overlocker, I also have a Juki overlocker for hire at the prices below. If you would like to hire an overlocker but have never used one, book in for a one-to-one session for a crash course on basic overlocking!

Sewing machine and overlocker hire does not include tuition or advice and is only suitable for people who can confidently use these specific sewing machines without help or supervision. I will be at the workshop but doing my own work. If you feel you would need to ask questions in order to get on with your sewing then you should book into a class!
